Fire District meetings are first and third Tuesdays of each month at the fire station.
ENFIELD FIRE DISTRICT
NOTICE OF ANNUAL ELECTION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual Election of the Enfield Fire
District will take place on December 9, 2025 between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and
9:00 p.m. at the Enfield Firehouse at 172 Enfield Main Road, Town of Enfield, New
York for the purpose of electing the following fire district officers:
One Fire Commissioner for a five (5) year term, commencing January 1,
2026 and ending December 31, 2030.
All candidates for a District Office shall be residents of the Enfield Fire
District, not convicted of any degree of arson and shall file in writing their name,
the position and term they are seeking with the Secretary of the Enfield Fire District,
at 172 Enfield Main Road, Ithaca, New York 14850, and must be actually received
by the Fire District Secretary on or before 5:00 p.m. on November 19, 2025.
Any elector of the Enfield Fire District who shall be registered voter with the
Tompkins County Board of Elections on or prior to November 17, 2025 and who
shall have resided in the Enfield Fire District for at least thirty days preceding such
election shall be qualified to vote.
